Super Sonya, The Late Game Team Destroyer
I wanted to put this together because I've seen a lot of similar Sonya builds on here, but not this one yet. This is the build I tend to use when I am playing Sonya in HL or any setting where I may have to rely more on my self and less on my team. It is full of utility, self sustain, and everything you need to stay in the fight more and deal bigger damage the longer the game progresses.
Alternate Shot of Fury, Spear, and AAs to keep Wrath of the Berserker going forever. Poisoned Spear to force people out of the fight. Don't be afraid to take a little damage BEFORE popping shields, that way you can use your time shielded to Whirlwind your health back to full and get ready for another burst. You will wipe a full team late game if you alternate shields, time activation properly, don't get stunned out of Whirlwind, and stick to your enemy. Easy, right?

Shot of Fury
Increases your maximum Fury by 50. You can also activate your Trait to gain 50 Fury. Usable while Whirlwinding.
SoF is going to be your main way to gain bursts of Fury from early game to late. After level 10 it has a second function, serving as a one-press extension for Wrath of the Berserker.

Hurricane
Reduces the cooldown of Whirlwind by 1 second and Whirlwind removes all slows and roots on Sonya.
Removes slows and roots, and lowers the cooldown of a huge source of damage and self sustain. This one is absolutely necessary for your survival.

Poisoned Spear
Ancient Spear deals an additional 100% damage over 6 seconds.
This is actually a huge source of damage. Pop Wrath, slam a front line with one of these bad boys, and watch how quickly they reconsider their engage.

Wrath of the Berserker
Increase damage dealt by 40%. Reduce the duration of stuns, slows, and roots against you by 50%. Lasts 15 seconds, and extends by 1 second for every 10 Fury gained.
With Wrath, you are truly Super Sonya. Increases damage, reduces CC, and can be extended indefinitely through some clever ability juggling. In most settings my WotB is already off cooldown before the current cast of it is finished. More damage for Whirlwind equals more healing too, increasing our ever important self sustain yet again.

Life Funnel
Increases the healing of Whirlwind to 35%, tripled versus Heroes.
Life Funnel is generally my favorite because it gives HUGE sustain in fights. If you can get 2-3 enemies at once with WotB up, you basically can't die.

Nerves of Steel
Activate to gain 25% of your maximum Health as a Shield for 3 seconds. Usable while Whirlwinding.
Shields because the longer you are alive, the less time you are dead.

Ignore Pain
Activate to reduce damage taken by 75% for 4 seconds. Usable while Whirlwinding.
More shields because the less you are dead, the more the enemy is.
