Lupus Imperius Build

This build is generally for the offlane style of play and not for the main tank style. I believe that Imperius performs very much in a similar way to Blaze in that he can fit both roles.
Consuming Flame
Increase the center damage of Solarion's Fire by 100% and its Slow amount by 15%.
More consistent than the Q quest and just more useful generally than the percent damage that requires you to auto attack.
Unshakable Faith
Activating Molten Armor removes Roots and Slows and heals Imperius for 200.
Seems like a pick what you need tier. Unshakable Faith is generally the most useful in the offlane because it's a way to sustain yourself without having to auto attack the enemy hero in the lane which isn't always easy.
Holy Fervor
Activate to cause the next 4 Basic Attacks to cleave for 157 damage.
Insane wave clear and damage in fights. Just be careful because the CD doesn't start until you use all 4 of the autos.
Angelic Armaments
Summon a ring of blazing swords that grants 1000 Shield for 3 seconds. If the Shield lasts the full duration, this ability can be reactivated within 5 seconds to launch 6 swords toward an area, each dealing 140 damage to the first enemy hit.
Let's you go pretty ham on the enemy team and do your job properly. Bruisers generally want to be in the enemy team messing up the backline, this lets you perform that play-style without dying quickly. If the enemy team puts all of that damage into you it's not going into your team.
Pathetic Mortals
Stunning enemy Heroes with Celestial Charge reduces their damage by 35% for 4 seconds.
Generally just the best talent here. Reducing enemy damage by 35% in a teamfight is massive.
Sovereign Armor
Molten Armor grants 50 Armor for 2.5 seconds.
All of these talents are pretty good but I think that the 50 armor is hard to pass up as a bruiser.
Activate to become Unstoppable and gain 75 Spell Armor for 2 seconds. Hitting Heroes with the center of Solarion's Fire reduces this cooldown by 5 seconds.
An unstoppable that has CDR that you get just for aiming your W properly seems really good. Also you just can't take damage from mages for 2 seconds. If the enemy team doesn't have mages or the ones they have aren't the main threat then the upgrade the the ult the way to go.
