Divine Intervention (Tyrael Updated 6/20/18)

Tyrael serves largely as a support tank set on enabling allies while creating threat on enemies. What he lacks in hard CC he makes up for in utility for his team and a bit of waveclear. His Heroics are 2 of the strongest in the game and learning them will be crucial to dominating as Tyrael.

Pros: independent laning and waveclear, can shield waves and mercs for pushes, amazing team fighting, very mobile

Cons: no hard cc, cannot set up picks for team, weak to crowd control effects
Justice For All
Increase the Shield applied to allies by Righteousness to 75% of the Shield gained by Tyrael.
Amazing for protecting team in fights and can even be used to shield waves during laning to mess with enemy rotations.
Stalwart Angel
Gain 25 Armor while El'druin's Might is active, and for 2 seconds after teleporting.
Good anti-burst tool to make you more survivable in team fights. Just make sure to have this down before getting engaged on.
When Tyrael's Shield from Righteousness expires or is destroyed, it deals for 170 damage to nearby enemies.
Reciprocate gives Tyrael that extra bit of waveclear to 1-shot waves and also gives him more solo threat, which will be important late game. Overall having Tyrael put out more threat makes him much more valuable as a pick.
After 0.5 seconds, create a field of holy energy that makes allied Heroes Invulnerable. Lasts 3 seconds.
Sanctification can be hard to use in HL, but is easily one of the best Heroics in the game when used right. Look to use it to counter the enemy's engage tools before turning or just use it to protect your own engage from getting countered by things like Twilight Dream.
Law and Order
Each enemy Hero hit by Smite reduces the cooldown of Righteousness by 1 second. Each allied Hero Shielded by Righteousness increases the damage of the next Smite by 35%.
This talent is nuts numerically. More shields and more damage make this the go-to talent for team fighting. It may not have the boss control of Holy Ground, but is hands down the best talent for fights and will make Tyrael into a monster.
Burning Halo
Both Tyrael and El'druin deal 18 damage per second to nearby enemies. Teleporting increases this damage from Tyrael by 150% for 2 seconds.
At this point, Tyrael is actually super threatening to backliners and can really put pressure on by himself. Shield your teammates, throw your Q out, and take it if the engage looks good. You + any dive buddy can kill almost any backliner in the game.
Holy Arena
Increases duration of Sanctification by 1 second and increases the damage of allies by 25%.
Holy Arena is the best scaling talent here since it makes your core threat super scary. 5 people standing in Holy Arena can end any game, much less a teamfight. Take Defense of the Angels if you're having trouble using Sanctification, but if you've got the Heroic down, this is the go-to.
