Decard Cain First Impression
Pretty sure you want to only take 1 gem so that at level 20 you can use that gem everytime. Rank of Gems goes Ruby>Emerald>Saphire.
Each enemy Hero hit by Scroll of Sealing grants 20% Spell Power for 16 seconds, up to 40%.
If you have lots of set up to use your E off of and you can stack the quest i think it is pretty good. If your team has no Set up for your E you can go Saphire to land your own combos, although u dont need it to land your combo.
Activate to increase the damage of the next Horadric Cube by 100% and it spawns 3 Lesser Healing Potions from each enemy Hero hit, healing allied Heroes for 250 when picked up. Lesser Healing Potions last for 10 seconds. Only 1 Gem may be active at a time.
I think Cains weakest aspect is his type of healing and his healing options and i think this helps solve it by having another way of spawning potions.
Horadric Cube reduces damage dealt by 30% for 4 seconds.
If your team has a Burst comp and the other team has a form of burst healing Emerald is an ok take, but 30% damage reduced on every cube is pretty insane
After 1 second, create a twirling tome tornado that travels towards the targeted direction, continually knocking away enemies that come into contact with it.
Although Stay a While looks good for wombo's it is also time where you cant heal allies and sleeps are pretty weak in most elos because people just wake up people with random damage. I think Lorenado is actually insane. It's basically a moving holy ground that bounces people too.
Activate Fortitude of the Faithful to empower nearby allied Hero Basic Attacks for 8 seconds, causing them to deal an additional 62 damage in an area and heal for 90 for each Hero hit.
Ancient blessing pretty much always gets value and can be insane if the other team clumps up. The AoE heals are alright, but the size of the AoE is too small to realistically hit more than maybe 2 people consistently.
Safety in Numbers
If at least 3 allied Heroes are nearby, Fortitude of the Faithful grants an additional 15 Armor, 50% Mana Regeneration per second, and causes Deckard's Basic Abilities to recharge an additional 50% faster.
All his 16s are kind of weak, Safety in Numbers is insane if you can keep it active in fights, but if you have a comp of dive heroes that you cant go deep with Horadric Staff can give Cain some self peel and some extra kill potential.
Reduce the cooldown of all Gems to 5 seconds and the cooldown of Horadric Cube by 6 seconds.
Think this talent is insane when you only have 1 Gem, you just permanently have the Gem on every W. Lorenado upgrade feels a little wonky, unrealistic to get more than 10 seconds of CD in most situations. Potion Respawn seems map specific, maybe good on Infernal Shrines and Volskaya Foundry.
