Not fun to play against, but if you pick it, then you'll have fun winning right? Jokes aside, Hammer is extremely powerful that's a challenge to counter in uncoordinated play.

Ambush
Gain Stealth when entering Siege Mode or after not taking or dealing damage for 3 seconds while in Siege Mode. Basic Attacks while Stealthed deal 100% more damage. Remaining stationary for at least 1.5 seconds while Stealthed grants Invisible.
Taken for the nice burst it adds to your auto.

Siege Tactics
Using Neosteel Plating while in Siege Mode grants Unstoppable for 2 seconds. Shifting out of Siege Mode removes this effect.
A talent that shouldn't exist, this makes you more of a lane bully than you already are.

Hover Siege Mode
Sgt. Hammer can move at 40% Movement Speed while in Siege Mode.
Oh and now you can move btw while in Siege Mode.

Napalm Strike
Deals 164 damage on impact, and leaves a napalm area that deals 50 damage per second. Lasts for 4 seconds.
Now that BFG can't hit structures, Napalm Strike is the way to go.

Entrenched
While in Siege Mode, Concussive Blasts's damage and knockback distance are increased by 75%.
It's comical just how far the enemy will get pushed away with this.

Executioner
Attacking a Hero that is slowed, rooted, or stunned increases your Basic Attack damage by 30% for 3 seconds.
Play it by ear, as Giant Killer is also a great talent.

Advanced Lava Strike
Napalm Strike's range is increased by 75% and its impact does 50% more damage.
