Practice her in try mode for a solid hour, master her combo, then go into ranked and win.
Fury of the Swarm
Gain 10% more Assimilation Shields from Basic Attacks. After casting Ravage, Kerrigan's next 1 Basic Attack within 3 seconds splash for 100% damage around the target.
More wave clear, more shielding. Super good following a strong combo and they're all clumped.
Kinetic Fulmination
Damaging an enemy increases the damage of Kerrigan's next Impaling Blades within 10 seconds by 10%, up to 100%.
Makes your Impaling Blades burst hard. Too good to pass up.
Bladed Momentum
Basic Attacks against enemy Heroes reduce the cooldown of Kerrigan's Basic Abilities by 0.6 seconds.
Can't go wrong with CD reduction on your autoattacks.
Summon Ultralisk
After 0.5 seconds, summon an Ultralisk that rushes forward upon spawning, dealing 250 damage to the first enemy Hero hit and Stunning them for 0.5 seconds. The Ultralisk's Basic Attacks deal 50% of their damage in an area around their target. Reactivate to retarget the Ultralisk.
Can go either way here, but Ultralisk catches people off guard and setup your next combo easy. Maelstrom is probably the better pick when they're overloaded on melee characters.
Volatile Power
Increases the amount of Assimilation Shields granted from damage dealt by 10%, but reduce duration of Assimilation by 3 seconds.
The drawback doesn't matter as you'll be resetting its duration throughout the fight, the increase in shielding is strong.
Unbridled Energy
Damaging a Hero with a Heroic Ability grants 35% Spell Power for 4 seconds.
Painful Spikes is great, but hear me out for a second. Your ultralisk's AAs activate Unbridled Energy and keep it up. If you go Maelstrom and take the upgrade at 20, you're pretty much always having 30% spell power until the entire enemy team is dead. Painful Spikes is immediate, while Unbridled Energy is an investment that pays off at 20.
Assimilation Blades
Damaging an enemy increases Basic Attack damage by 2% for 5 seconds, up to 40%.
All of these storm talents are viable, but my favorite happens to be Assimilation Blades. The damage builds up quickly and the shielding gets insane. Go wild.
