The Unkillable Horror
This is not your typical Butcher build. But you don't want to be a typical Butcher now, do you? You know what I'm talking about: "Oh look, The Butcher is charging in again and --- oh, he's dead." It's time to stop being a butcher's apprentice. Instead, be the unkillable Butcher that everyone will come to fear.
Every 5 seconds, gain 75 Physical Armor against the next enemy Hero Basic Attack, reducing the damage taken by 75%. Stores up to 2 charges.
Block is going to up your survivability a fair amount. In the event that there won't be much value out of it (laning against Tracer/Tychus/Zarya), Invigoration is a nice second (Chop Meat if your team's waveclear is garbage).
Increases the length of Hamstring by 40%.
Flail Axe is what you pull out when they think they barely got away. WHACK! They're dead. You'll also be able to clear lanes better as they're coming in single-file.
When Ruthless Onslaught impacts an enemy Hero, The Butcher gains 50 Spell Armor for 2.5 seconds, reducing Ability Damage taken by 50%.
Meat Shield grants you 50% Spell Armor for 2.5 seconds after you charge. Sorry, mages. You won't be bursting down Butchy anytime soon.
Lamb to the Slaughter
Throw a hitching post that attaches to the nearest enemy Hero after a 1 second delay. This deals 171 damage and causes the enemy to be chained to the post and Silenced for 3 seconds.
Lamb to the Slaughter... Name one other ability which causes players to mindlessly act out of fearful instinct. What do they hope to accomplish by running and bouncing repeatedly for 4 seconds. Instead of them, at the very least, AAing you, you'll be able to hack them into pieces in no time.
After using Hamstring, The Butcher's next 3 Basic Attacks within 5 seconds deal an additional 15% damage.
Brutal Strike pumps up your DPS quite nicely. Always a good thing.
While below 50% of his maximum Health, taking damage causes The Butcher to become Enraged for 10 seconds, gaining 40% Attack Speed and 25 Armor, reducing damage taken by 25%. This effect has a 25 second cooldown.
This is the most OP talent in the game. Folks, I'm telling you, this is broken. You will solo bosses, you will turn the tides in a fight; just when they think they've got you, you pop Enraged, gain 25% Armor, gain 40% attack speed, and you come back! Save your Butcher's Brand for when you get that bonus attack speed.
Bolt of the Storm
Activate to teleport to a nearby location.
Frankly, this is dealer's choice. None of these talents are bad. Personally, I like options; that's what Bolt of the Storm gives you. You can use it offensively or defensively, so it's my preferred poison.
