Owlbuddy's OHHHH THIS IS MY JAM Build
Been practicing my Lucio lately and been having a ton of fun. Decided to make a build guide for what has been working for me!
Wall Ride's Movement Speed bonus gradually increases to 40% over 4 seconds while Lucio maintains its effect.
So this talent is actually more bonkers than it looks. Just tagging the wall for a second lets you get like 5 free stacks of the speed or refresh the duration completely. You don't need to be hugging a wall at all times, just swinging off and on to maintain the buff.
Off the Wall
If you hit an enemy Hero while you have the Wall Riding Movement Speed bonus, reduce the cooldown by 3 seconds.
Same deal with this talent. Boop is one of Lucio's biggest reasons for being picked so having it every 4 seconds is pretty great.
Place a killable ward on the ground that gives nearby allies your Crossfade and Amp It Up auras (auras do not stack). Lasts 30 seconds. Max 1.
Boombox works great as a vision ward and doubling the size of your crossfade. I like to put it in the backline so I can continue to heal my squishies while being aggressive in the frontline with my tanks. Basically gives you two bodies which is nice if a fight starts getting crazy.
After a 1 second delay, grant yourself and all nearby allied Heroes a 1296 point shield that rapidly decays over 6 seconds.
Shouldn't really have to explain this choice.
Gain 25 Armor while you have the Wall Riding movement speed boost, reducing damage by 25%.
Hard Style is pretty strong here. Like your 1 and 4 talents, you can keep this up as long as you're touching the wall frequently. If their team has a lot of CC though or the map is lacking walls, you can go for Back in the Mix for some emergency healing.
While Amp It Up is active, Crossfade’s Healing Boost heals for an additional 2.5% of the target’s maximum health per second.
Combined with the level 20, this actually makes Lucio's healing competitive with the current meta supports.
Using Crossfade while Amp It Up is active resets the duration of Amp It Up back to its max duration. This can only occur once per cast.
I really like Encore, let's you pump out some serious healing or do some hardcore chasing. It's nice to use Amp it Up with healing song, swap songs right before Amp ends, and then immediately swap to healing again. This tops like every character off and you'll have Amp it Up up again in a few seconds. Be careful not to clip the extra duration by crossfading early.
