Imperius has huge potential to destroy enemies and be extremely hard to kill, but a poor-timed engage can really screw you. Strong on maps with not too much macro emphasis where he can fight outside of minions / non-heroes.
Burn The Impure
Consuming a Solarion's Fire mark deals bonus damage equal to 2.5% of the Hero's maximum Health.
Molten Armor grants 50 Armor for 2.5 seconds.
Press Forward can give you a lot of sustain in the solo lane if you need to trade into the enemy laner a lot
Activate to cause the next 4 Basic Attacks within 10 seconds to cleave for 30% additional damage.
Holy Fervor gives you the waveclear you desperately need on many maps. If you don't need it for some reason, Flash of Anger gives you insane burst.
Summon a ring of blazing swords that grants 1000 Shield for 3 seconds. If the Shield lasts the full duration, this ability can be reactivated within 5 seconds to launch 6 swords toward an area, each dealing 140 damage to the first enemy hit.
Default to Armaments. Wrath can be good if you find your team behind or playing more for picks than teamfights.
Consuming a Valorous Brand mark reduces the cooldown of Molten Armor by 1 second.
Default to Rage, Heat of Battle can help you sustain through burst while Pathetic Mortals can help your squishier teammates.
Gain 25% Movement Speed for 5 seconds after casting Celestial Charge. Gain 40% Attack Speed for 5 seconds for each Hero stunned with Celestial Charge.
All of these are good situationally. Celestial Swiftness gives you crazy chase potential and damage, Melting Touch can help your team burst down a beefy enemy, and Valorous Pursuit lets you jump in the enemy backline and chase enemies, while also getting armor.
Nearby allied Heroes gain 600 Shield for 3 seconds. If the Shield lasts the full duration, fire a sword at the nearest enemy Hero, dealing 140 damage.
