Justice Itself

Tyrael is a mobile pseudo-support frontliner, who focuses on buffing his team while swiftly moving around the battle. He can be played in the offlane or main tank position, and offers great protection and buffs for his team, but lacks somewhat in waveclear and bulk, requiring the rest of his team to provide CC and clear where he lacks.

Justice For All
Increase the Shield applied to allies by Righteousness to 75% of the Shield gained by Tyrael.
Justice For All is the default, and allows Tyrael to give powerful shielding to his allies. In the offlane, Ardent Restoration CAN be chosen, but generally isn't as Tyrael doesn't commonly win the solo lane regardless.

Stalwart Angel
Gain 25 Armor while El'druin's Might is active, and for 2 seconds after teleporting.
Stalwart Angel is a must, giving Tyrael some of the bulk that he so desperately needs. In an AA build, if Tyrael ends up needing to do more hero damage than support, Divine Vigor can be taken.

Swift Retribution
Smite grants 20% more Movement Speed and also grants 25% Attack Speed for 2 seconds.
Swift Retribution is the go-to and gives an insane movement speed and AA speed buff on Smite. In the solo lane Reciprocate CAN be taken for waveclear, but, again, is mostly skipped. Purge Evil can be taken in conjunction with Divine Vigor at 4 to punish clumping in the more damage-oriented Tyrael build (again, only if his role as a supportive frontline needs to change to more of a bruiser).

Sanctification
After 0.5 seconds, create a field of holy energy that makes allied Heroes Invulnerable. Lasts 3 seconds.

Holy Ground
Create a ring that blocks enemies from entering the area teleported to using El'Druin's Might.
Holy Ground is the default choice, and provides some lockdown through using it in choke points, as well as great point control over things such as camps. Sword of Justice is also an option, and enables Tyrael to be hyper-mobile and scout / bait abilities.

Burning Halo
Both Tyrael and El'druin deal 18 damage per second to nearby enemies. Teleporting increases this damage from Tyrael by 150% for 2 seconds.
Burning Halo is the default, and gives Tyrael powerful waveclear and damage in fights, and is the default. In the bruiser AA build mentioned @ 4 and 7 you should go into Smite the Wicked to further layer Smite and buff your AA (again, only if that build is necessary).

Holy Arena
Increases duration of Sanctification by 1 second and increases the damage of allies by 25%.
