Alexstrasza Initial Thoughts

Taking a stab at it!

With this build I'm looking to be a second support. The second Support is going to be Alexstrasza's assurance against heavy poke or dive, and Alextrasza is going to be the main healer for the team.
1
Live and Let Live
While Alexstrasza is above 75% health, Gift of Life's cooldown recharges 100% faster.
4
Exuberance
While above 75% Health, gain 15% Movement Speed.
Surge of Vitality is good
7
Lifeblossom
While Alexstrasza is above 75% Health, Gift of Life creates a Lifeblossom at the target's location. Alexstrasza can collect the Lifeblossom to make her next Gift of Life cost no Health.
10
Life-Binder
Bind Alexstrasa's life force with an allied Hero. After 2 seconds, the Hero with a lower percentage of Health is set to the same Health percentage as the other Hero.
Either Heroic
13
Pacify
Activate to Slow and reduce an enemy Hero's damage by 50% for 3 seconds. Healing a Stunned, Silenced, or Rooted ally reduces Pacify's cooldown by 30 seconds.
16
Tough Love
While Alexstrasza is above 75% Health, Gift of Life grants its target 20 Armor for 2 seconds.
20
Ancient Flame
While Dragonqueen is active, Alexstrasza's Basic Attacks apply Flame Buffet, but her Attack Speed is reduced by 25%.

How difficult is it to keep her above 75% life? Doesn't she need a second healer?
I think that's where life blossom comes in as it's removes the health exchange every time she has a charge. I'm also guessing cause in dragon form she doesn't have to trade life that's also another way to keep her health up.
I watched McIntyre's Youtube vid of his impressions last night and I think I agree with him that E build (1, 4, 7) is the way to go. Bakery do you have thoughts on that build?
I think the E build is probably more of a double support build while I think this build could solo support a bit more effectively - especially with a beefy front line.

I tried this build last night and it felt pretty good. The blossoms are easy to pick up (often I accidentally picked them up before I even saw them). That said, her healing output takes a hit if she survives a dive on her. I think both ults can help with this weakness though.
Faume that seems the opposite. E build heals Alex for 10% max hp every time she hits someone, thus healing herself, thus not needing a second support like Ana does. With Bakery's build her only self heal is her W, thus making her either play super safe or needing a second healer to cover the lack of quick self heal
Vraex the E build doesn't heal Alex... the E talent at 7 does. You don't need E at 1 or 4 for it to be good. The E talent at 1 reduces the dragon cd, which is nice but I feel you don't need to constantly dragon all the time (the flame buffet spell is very important to her skirmishing). The E talent at 4 is just a stronger slow, makes it easier to follow up Es or chase.

I think the Q talent level 1 can very broken if you can maintain that threshold. If you aren't able to walk up to the flowers if you are healing your backline, I think the E talent at 7 instead can maintain your health great in fights, since that is the only time you really Q. If you hit 3 Es, you overheal the 15% cost of 1 Q, and you can hit 2 Es per reduced CDR Q. Personally I think that will be a much more flexible version of this Bakery build, because you won't have to put yourself in danger to grab flowers if you healed your tank. The E talents 1 and 4 have separate functionality entirely. I think the 75% health movespeed at 4 synergizes better for hitting Es, kiting, and dodging.
*paragraph two I meant to say frontline, not backline
Vraex yeah, upon further reflection, I think you may be right. The more I’ve played with it, Lifeblossom is hard to justify over Fire Within. I can’t think of many situations where you are safe to pick up blossoms next to heal targets, you won’t take significant poke, and you can’t land a couple Flame Buffets.

Fire Within seems too good with the crazy range of Flame Buffet to really consider Lifeblossom.
Nice build, thx
