CCL Roster Updates - 30k and Simplicity
HeroesCCL presented by Roll20 is announcing the following roster changes, effective immediately.
30k has released Mascarade (Tank) from their roster and has acquired Azyrite (Ranged DPS) from the Free Agent list.

From 30k's CEO and founder, Michael Udall:
30k is happy to announce the signing of EU DPS player Azyrite from the CCL Free Agent List. Azyrite is an EU Grandmaster player known for his aggressive playstyle and he will bring added depth to the 30k DPS position. Azyrite will not be playing in this weekend’s match vs. WildHeart Esports but look out for him in the future as he progresses with the team under the tutelage of 30k coach, Mene.

With this signing, 30k has also come to agreement with Mascarade for his release. Our signing of Fury, which was previously announced, put us in the position of having 2 top-tier tanks. After some discussion, it was decided by the team to go forward with Fury as the primary tank for 30k. We would like to thank Mascarade for his excellent performance with 30k this season and wish him the best in his future. Mascarade is a player everyone at 30k thinks very highly of, and we respect his desire to secure a starting spot so he can continue competing at the highest level.
Simplicity has released Wit (Tank) from their roster and has acquired Mascarade (Tank) from the Waiver Wire.

From Simplicity Director of Esports, PartyFoul:
Simplicity would like to thank Wit for all his hard work and it was a pleasure working with him. Simplicity is happy to pick up Mascarade and feel that his playstyle better fits our team's style. We look forward to working with him for the remainder of the season.

The Process

When an Org elects to release a Player from their CCL roster, the released Player is placed on the Waiver Wire for 24 hours. At this time, the Organizations in CCL can option to acquire a released Player before they become a Free Agent. The Waiver Wire order is determined by current records of the Orgs, from worst to best. (This blog explains the transactions and Waiver Wire process in full detail.)

The Waiver Wire order for the week of November 30, 2020 is as follows:

1. Chilly Mountain
2. Sidestep Kings
3. Granit Gaming
4. Simplicity
5. 30k
6. CrowdControl
7. WildHeart Esports
8. Oxygen Esports

As of today, Chilly Mountain, 30k, and Simplicity have used their two player transactions for the season.

Granit Gaming has 1 transaction remaining.

Sidestep Kings, WildHeart Esports, CrowdControl and Oxygen Esports each have 2 player transactions remaining. The player transaction deadline for Season 1 is 11:59pm CST on Friday, December 11, 2020.

You can catch all the teams in action this weekend for Week 5 of CCL competition. Matches are held on Saturdays and Sundays beginning at 4pm EST/1pm PST/10pm CET.
